Day 1: Tarangire National Park
Your safari adventure begins with an early departure from Arusha to Tarangire National Park. Known for its large elephant herds and striking baobab trees, Tarangire offers unique and memorable wildlife experiences. Enjoy a morning game drive to spot the Big 5 and other wildlife such as giraffes and zebras. After a picnic lunch in the park, continue exploring the rich landscapes and wildlife before heading to your lodge for dinner and a relaxing evening.
Day 2: Lake Manyara National Park
After breakfast, travel to Lake Manyara National Park, renowned for its diverse habitats and abundant birdlife, including flamingos. Experience a day of game drives in the park’s lush forests, open grasslands, and soda lake. Keep an eye out for tree-climbing lions and other wildlife. Enjoy a picnic lunch amidst the park’s stunning scenery and return to your lodge near Lake Manyara for dinner and a restful night.
Day 3: Serengeti National Park
On your third day, journey to the famed Serengeti National Park. After checking into your lodge or tented camp, set out for an afternoon game drive through the park’s expansive plains. Known for the Great Migration and its large populations of predators, the Serengeti offers excellent opportunities to see the Big 5 and other wildlife such as cheetahs and hippos. Descend into the crater floor for a full day of game viewing in this natural wonder, where you might encounter lions, elephants, buffaloes, and rhinos, along with various other wildlife and bird species. Enjoy a picnic lunch amidst the crater’s stunning landscapes and return to your lodge for dinner and reflection on the day’s experiences.
Day 5: Return to Arusha and Departure
On your final day, enjoy breakfast before traveling back to Arusha. Depending on your flight schedule, you may have time to explore local markets or sights in Arusha. Transfer to Kilimanjaro International Airport for your departure flight, taking with you lasting memories of Tanzania’s wildlife and landscapes.
