How many people can visit a gorilla family each day?
A maximum of 8 people are permitted to visit a single habituated gorilla family per day. The encounter is limited to exactly one hour once the gorillas are located to minimize stress on the animals and preserve their natural habitat.

Pack robust waterproof hiking boots with good grip, long-sleeved shirts and trousers to protect against nettles, garden gloves for steadying yourself on vegetation, a lightweight rain jacket, warm fleece, at least 2 liters of water, binoculars, a camera with extra batteries and memory cards, and high-SPF sunscreen.
How physically demanding is the gorilla trek?
