Day-by-Day Itinerary
Your trip, day by day
Day 1: Arrival & Stone Town
After arriving at Zanzibar Airport, transfer to your hotel or guesthouse. In the afternoon, take a guided tour through Stone Town, the historic center of the island. Discover palaces, the Slave Market, souks and winding alleys. Enjoy the sunset at the harbor and try local specialties.
Day 2: Stone Town & Culture
Another day in Stone Town to deepen your cultural discoveries. Visit historic museums, art galleries and small cafés. Optional: spice market and local craft stalls.
Day 3: Spice Plantations & Village Visit
After breakfast, visit a Zanzibar spice plantation, learn about vanilla, cloves, cinnamon and nutmeg, and discover traditional coffee and tea production. Afterwards, visit a Chagga village to gain insight into local life. In the afternoon, transfer to the beach hotel.
Day 4: Beach Relaxation & Water Sports
Spend the day at the beach: swimming, snorkeling, kayaking or simply sunbathing. Optional: walks along the coast or visits to local beach cafés.
Day 5: Boat Trip & Sandbanks
Boat trip to the sandbanks off Zanzibar's coast. Enjoy swimming, snorkeling and a picnic on the sandbank. Ideal for photos and unforgettable moments.
Day 6: Snorkeling at Mnemba Atoll
Today you experience snorkeling at the famous Mnemba Atoll, one of the island's best diving and snorkeling spots. Discover coral reefs, colorful fish, turtles and other marine life. Free time at the beach in the afternoon.
Day 7: Beach & Departure
On the last day, enjoy the beach once more or take a short visit to Stone Town for last-minute souvenirs. Afterwards, transfer to Zanzibar Airport for your onward flight.
