D1

Day 1: Arrival & Stone Town

Hotel or guesthouse in Stone Town

After arriving at Zanzibar Airport, transfer to your hotel or guesthouse. In the afternoon, take a guided tour through Stone Town, the historic heart of the island. Discover old palaces, the Slave Market, narrow alleys, souks and traditional architecture. Enjoy the sunset at the harbor and try local dishes at a restaurant.

Day 2: Spice Plantations & Village Visit

After breakfast, visit a Zanzibar spice plantation, learn about the various spices, and experience the traditional preparation of coffee and tea. Afterwards, visit a nearby village to gain insight into daily Chagga life. Return to the hotel or drive to a beach resort in the afternoon.

Day 3: Beach Relaxation & Water Sports

Today is a relaxed day at the beach. You can swim, snorkel, kayak, or simply enjoy the sun. Optional: an excursion to nearby lagoons or small islands for swimming and snorkeling.

Day 4: Boat Trip & Snorkeling

Experience a boat trip to the sandbanks or Mnemba Atoll. Snorkel over colorful coral reefs and watch tropical fish, turtles and other sea life. Enjoy a picnic on the beach or a remote sandbank. In the afternoon, return to the hotel with free time.

Day 5: Relaxation & Departure

On the last day, enjoy the beach or visit Stone Town once more for last-minute shopping and souvenirs. Afterwards, transfer to Zanzibar Airport for your onward flight.
