Your trip, day by day
Day 1: Arusha – Tarangire National Park
After breakfast in Arusha you set off for Tarangire National Park. Already on the way to the park, views of savannah and the first herds of wildlife open up. During the game drive you see elephants, giraffes, zebras and antelope. Tarangire is known for its ancient baobab trees, which give the landscape a special atmosphere. In the evening you reach your camp or lodge for a relaxed dinner and overnight stay.
Day 2: Tarangire – Lake Manyara National Park
After an early breakfast you drive to Lake Manyara National Park, famous for flamingos, tree-climbing lions and a great variety of wildlife. On your game drive through the park you encounter elephants, buffalo, impala and numerous bird species. The combination of lake, forest and savannah makes the park unique. In the afternoon you drive to your lodge or camp on the edge of the park and enjoy the sunset.
Day 3: Lake Manyara – Serengeti National Park
After breakfast you set off for the world-famous Serengeti. The route leads over the Ngorongoro Highlands, where you get your first views of the endless Serengeti plains. After arriving in the central part of the park you take your first game drive and encounter lions, leopards, elephants and wildebeest. At sunset you reach your camp or lodge for the night.
Day 4: Full Day Safari in the Serengeti
A full day of game drives in the Serengeti awaits you. Early in the morning you set off on a sunrise game drive, ideal for predator viewing. After a picnic in the middle of the savannah you continue exploring. You have the chance to see prides of lions, cheetahs, elephant herds and huge herds of zebra and wildebeest. In the evening, return to camp.
Day 5: Serengeti – Ngorongoro Crater
In the morning you drive to the Ngorongoro Crater, one of Africa's most spectacular conservation areas. On the crater floor an impressive variety of wildlife awaits: lions, rhinos, elephants, buffalo and countless bird species. You take a game drive and enjoy a picnic at the Hippo Pool, before driving up the crater rim to your lodge.
Day 6: Ngorongoro – Arusha / Optional Lake Natron
