Kilimanjaro sits close enough to the equator that temperature swings little month to month — what changes is rainfall. The two driest windows are late June through October, and January through mid-March, both offering the clearest summit views and the most stable trail conditions.
The short and long rains (November and April–May) bring wetter trails and lower visibility, though the mountain is technically climbable year-round with the right gear. Whichever month you choose, book with an operator that builds in a proper acclimatization schedule — rushing the itinerary is the single biggest reason climbs fail.
