Day-by-Day Itinerary
Your trip, day by day
Day 1: Arrival in Arusha – Transfer to Hotel
After arrival at Kilimanjaro Airport, transfer to your hotel in Arusha. Short briefing about the safari and equipment preparation.
Day 2: Arusha – Tarangire National Park
Morning drive to Tarangire National Park, known for large elephant herds, baobab trees and varied landscapes. After a game drive through the savannah, enjoy a picnic and further wildlife viewing until sunset.
Day 3: Tarangire – Lake Manyara National Park – Karatu
Drive to Lake Manyara National Park, famous for its tree-climbing lions and flamingos. Game drives along the lake and surrounding forests. In the afternoon, continue to Karatu, gateway to the Ngorongoro area.
Day 4: Ngorongoro Crater
Full-day safari in the Ngorongoro Crater, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The crater floor is home to elephants, lions, rhinos, hippos and countless bird species. Picnic lunch in the crater and return to the lodge in the evening.
Day 5: Karatu – Serengeti (Ndutu / Western Corridor)
Drive into the Serengeti to follow the migration. Game drives in search of zebras, wildebeest, lions and cheetahs. Enjoy the endless plains and unforgettable African savannah scenery.
Day 6: Serengeti – Full Day Game Drive
Full-day game drive in the Serengeti, accompanied by an experienced guide. You have the chance to watch the animals of the Great Migration, see river crossings, and spot large predators. Optional: lunch in the bush.
Day 7: Serengeti – Western Corridor / Seronera
Further game drives in the Serengeti – depending on the season, visiting the Western Corridor or Seronera area, home to lions, leopards and wild dogs. Enjoy the sunset over the savannah.
Day 8: Serengeti – Arusha – Departure
Breakfast and a final game drive before driving back to Arusha. Arrival in the evening, transfer to the airport or hotel for departure.

Best Time to Travel
Wildlife viewing is good year-round. The dry season (June-October) concentrates animals around water sources for easier sightings, and the Great Migration's river crossings peak July-October. Calving season in the southern Serengeti runs December-March.
