Arusha to Serengeti — Fly or Drive into the Wild
Your Serengeti adventure begins with a morning pickup from your Arusha hotel. You have two options: take a scenic 1-hour flight to one of the Serengeti airstrips, or enjoy a 5-7 hour drive through the stunning Rift Valley and Ngorongoro highlands. Upon arrival, your guide will lead an afternoon game drive en route to your camp, introducing you to the vast plains and their wildlife. Overnight at a Serengeti tented camp.
Full Day Serengeti Game Drives
This is your full day to explore the Serengeti in depth. Rise early for a sunrise game drive when predators are most active. Return to camp for a hearty breakfast, then head out again after a brief rest. Visit the Seronera Valley, famous for its high concentration of big cats, or follow the Migration herds depending on the season. Enjoy a picnic lunch in the bush. In the afternoon, continue exploring different regions of the park before heading back to camp. Overnight at your Serengeti camp.
Serengeti to Arusha — Farewell to the Plains
One last morning game drive to capture the Serengeti in the early light. After breakfast, you will be transferred back to Arusha by flight or road. The journey itself is a final wildlife viewing opportunity as you pass through the park. Arrive in Arusha in the late afternoon, where your safari concludes. End of tour.
